Patrick Swiatek was born in Germany into a musical family. At 8 years of age he started violin under the tutelage of Tamara Prystipienko, and continued with Anna Netcheporouk Bron. Other notable teachers were Professor Igor Oistrakh, Concertmaster of Munich Radio symphony orchestra, Professor Andreas Röhn, Professor Nana Jashvili, and Professor Peter Daniel.
Patrick is a Two-time First prize winner of the German National Violin competition. He has attended many International Master-classes both in orchestral settings and as a soloist. He was also the youngest member of the State Youth Orchestra in Germany.
Patrick obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from Fei Tian College in New York with a full scholarship. He was a long-term member of Shen Yun performing Arts with whom he traveled and performed in top venues across the United States, Europe and Asia.
Patrick has 14 years of teaching experience. He believes that music pedagogy is a creative and challenging journey. There are no set rules that everyone must follow. Every student is unique, and therefore it is every teacher’s duty to find the best way for each student. Patrick believes that the only way to truly awaken students’ musical talents is to offer encouragement, spark their interests and build their self-confidence.
